Newsletter – 18 March 2020
As many of our Club competitions and tournaments including interclub competitions are either underway or planned for the near future, it is our intention to continue business as normal until such time that we are directed otherwise.
To support the health, safety and well-being of you, our members, the Club has put in place “best practice hygiene” steps to assist in preventing the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus.
In addition to hot water, antibacterial hand wash and paper towels in all toilet areas, we are sourcing sanitiser which will be placed within the main Clubhouse.
It is also suggested that any members entering scorecards or handling cash, use sanitiser or antibacterial wipes prior to either eating or drinking.
We will also need your support to keep our Clubhouse safe and ask that you continue to use good handwashing and hygiene procedures, good coughing etiquette and staying home if you are experiencing flu like symptoms or have been travelling internationally in the past 14 days.
As the situation evolves, it may necessitate further measures, of which you will be kept fully informed
Kazuma Kobori – on his runner up placing at the NZ Stroke Play Championship
Alisdair Reid – on being runner up in the Canterbury Masters Match Play
Jo Kent – on her selection for the Canterbury Women’s Masters Team to play at Clarks Beach from 3-5 April.
A reminder that payment in full or an installment plan must be in place by 20th March 2020 – failure to do so will result in your playing rights being removed and your NZ Golf handicap lapsed.
