Match Committee
Congratulations to Jan Reed and George Knaggs on winning the Women’s and Men’s Summer Cups.
Also congratulations to our winner of the Canadian Foursomes on Opening Day. Roe Rutledge and George Hawkesby won the Mixed Marks Trophy, with Mark Batchelor and Grant Hoben winning the Men’s Helm Cup.
Well done to you all.

Prize Vouchers
Managements Policy is that “prize vouchers” can not be used to pay “match or entry fees”. They may be used at the bar/catering, golf shop or against your membership account only.
Ashburton “Haggle” Shield
This event has been moved from 1 March to Saturday 12 April and played at Rangiora.
Course Matters
“Bare Patches” on Greens
Please treat any “bald” patches on greens as “Abnormal Course Conditions”.
Rule 16.1a When Relief is Allowed
– the player’s ball touches or is in or on an abnormal course conditions
– the abnormal course condition physically interferes with the player’s area of intended stance or area of intended swing.
Relief – Nearest point of complete relief and no nearer the hole.
Sand Boxes on Par 3’s
Please use the sand from these boxes on the par 3’s (seed has been added).
Sand Buckets
Please take a sand bucket to repair divots. Even if you don’t make them, we would appreciate your assistance in filling divots made by others.
No 8 Hedge
If your ball disappears into the hedge, please play a “provisional” ball to keep the pace of play on track.
Course Renovations
The course and practice facilities will be closed from Monday 3rd March to Thursday 6 March inclusive.
Reciprocal Playing Agreement
We are pleased to announce that agreements have been reached with Temuka Golf Club and Tinwald Golf Club to provide our members with a 50% discount off green fees.
As the Temuka Golf Club is unattended, they have asked that you write “Rangiora” on the green fee tag. Should you be travelling by campervan or caravan, you are also welcome to stay in their car park.
Negotiations are underway to add more Club’s to the reciprocal list.
Clubhouse Renovations
During the week of course renovations, the Clubhouse roof will be repaired and recoated together with repairs and painting to the gables and soffits. At the same time, the brackets for solar energy panels will be installed.
To allow this work to be completed, scaffolding will be erected on 27 & 28 February. During this time, please observe all Health & Safety requests.
