The maiden round of ARK Golf was played on Sunday 26 January at Rangiora and attracted 23 players – 2 from Kaiapoi; 9 from Amberley and 12 from Rangiora. It was a fun and social day culminating in the presentation of the prestigious ARK Trophy to Kaiapoi. With only 2 players their team average was 33pts – a good effort.

The launch of the “Futures Canterbury North-East Hub” was launched at the Waimairi Beach Golf Club on Sunday 2 February 2020.
On the day two prize winners were drawn who each received a 12 month free membership for the hub – the first being Alexander Jonathan from Rangiora. Jonathan was really excited and at school the next week, did a presentation on meeting Sir Bob Charles plus Jonathan’s dad has also signed up as a parent member.
